Chardonnay has an elegant texture and excellent balance. The wine matures 100% in French oak barriques for 9 months »sur lie« and it has an aging potential of up to 10 years. The aroma is reminiscent of citrus fruit, ripe peaches, melon, butter, vanilla and hazelnuts and is perfectly complemented by an expressive scent of bread crust. This wine pairs well with boldly flavoured dishes, such as mushrooms, truffles, foie gras rich sea food and lean meat with cream sauces.
